Acanthochondria cornuta (Müller O.F., 1776)


English: Specimen of the parasitical copepod Acanthochondria cornuta on the operculum, next to the gills of a European flounder (Platichthys flesus), from the Belgian coastal waters (East of Zeebrugge). Length of each egg sack approx. 4 mm.
Français : Acanthochondria cornuta, un copépode parasite, sur l'opercule d'un Flet commun (Platichthys flesus), pêché dans les eaux côtières belges, à l'est de Zeebruges. Longueur des sacs d'oeufs : 4 mm environ.
