AGORA

From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

AGORA or the Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA), a program launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in partnership with major publishers. AGORA provides free or low-cost access to major scientific journals in agriculture and related sciences to public institutions in eligible countries. This initiative aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of agricultural research, education, and training in developing countries and to enhance food security.
