- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and red bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until they are soft.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and stir in the cooked bacon.
- Cook for a few minutes until the edges start to set.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the frittata is set in the middle.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
