Chicken roulades with sage and gruyere is a delicious and nutritious keto-friendly recipe. This dish is high in protein and low in carbs, making it perfect for those following a ketogenic diet.

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Place a slice of gruyere and a sage leaf on each chicken breast.
  4. Roll up the chicken breasts and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Season the chicken roulades with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add the chicken roulades and cook until browned on all sides.
  8. Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Remove the skillet from the oven and place the chicken roulades on a serving platter.
  11. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine with the chicken broth.
  12. Simmer the sauce until thickened, then pour over the chicken roulades.
