From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

EditGrid is an online spreadsheet service provided by Team and Concepts Ltd., a Hong Kong-based technology company. EditGrid offers features for both personal and business use, including real-time update and collaboration, a broad range of import/export options, and various types of data functions and formatting.

History[edit | edit source]

EditGrid was launched in April 2006 by Team and Concepts Ltd. The service was initially free, but a premium version was introduced in 2007. In 2008, EditGrid announced an offline mode, allowing users to work on their spreadsheets without an internet connection. The service was discontinued in 2014.

Features[edit | edit source]

EditGrid provides a variety of features that make it a comprehensive online spreadsheet tool. These include:

  • Real-time update and collaboration: EditGrid allows multiple users to work on the same spreadsheet simultaneously. Changes made by one user are immediately visible to all other users.
  • Data functions and formatting: EditGrid offers over 500 functions for data analysis and manipulation. It also provides a variety of formatting options, such as conditional formatting, cell merging, and text wrapping.

Reception[edit | edit source]

EditGrid received positive reviews for its real-time collaboration features and its compatibility with other spreadsheet software. However, it was criticized for its lack of offline functionality, which was later addressed with the introduction of an offline mode in 2008.
