Eggo is a brand of frozen waffles owned by the Kellogg Company, and is primarily available in North America. Eggo waffles are typically heated up in a toaster or microwave oven. They are popular for breakfast, but can also be enjoyed as a snack or dessert.

History[edit | edit source]

The Eggo brand was first introduced in the 1950s by the Froffles company, which was later renamed to Eggo. The name "Eggo" comes from the egg flavor that was originally used in the waffles. In 1968, the Kellogg Company acquired Eggo and has owned the brand ever since.
