Gideon Daniel Searle

Gideon Daniel Searle was an American pharmaceutical entrepreneur and businessman. He is best known for co-founding the pharmaceutical company G.D. Searle & Company in 1888. The company was a pioneer in the development of new drugs and was responsible for the introduction of several important drugs, including Aspirin and NutraSweet.
