Lanai City is a small town located on the island of Lanai, in the county of Maui, Hawaii. It is the only incorporated city on the island and serves as its central hub for both residents and visitors. The city is nestled high on the island and is known for its cool, comfortable climate, unique charm, and friendly community.

Lanai City is situated in the center of the island, providing easy access to all corners of Lanai. The city is surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, offering stunning views of the island's natural beauty.

Lanai City was established in the early 1920s as a plantation town. It was built to house the employees of the Dole Plantation, which was once the largest producer of pineapples in the world.

Lanai City is home to several healthcare facilities that provide services to the island's residents and visitors.
Lanai Community Hospital is a critical access hospital that offers a range of services including emergency care, inpatient care, and outpatient services. The hospital is part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, a public benefit corporation of the State of Hawaii.
