- Lancaster, KY is a city located in Garrard County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is the county seat of Garrard County and is part of the Danville, KY Micropolitan Statistical Area. Lancaster is known for its rich history, small-town charm, and beautiful landscapes.

- Lancaster was established in 1797 and named after Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the previous home of its founder, James Lancaster. The city has a rich history, with many of its buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
