Distal muscular dystrophy is a form of muscular dystrophy that sets in between 40 and 60 years of age.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

It is characterized by weakness and wasting of the muscles of the hands and forearms and lower legs.

The inheritance is autosomal dominant
