The Old Fisherman's Grotto was established in 1950 by Sabu Shake Sr., an immigrant from India. He started with a small snack bar and gradually expanded it into a full-service restaurant. Today, the restaurant is run by his son, Chris Shake, who continues to uphold the tradition of serving high-quality seafood and providing excellent customer service.

The menu at the Old Fisherman's Grotto features a variety of seafood dishes, including clam chowder, lobster, crab, shrimp, and oysters.
