Palm, Pennsylvania is a small unincorporated community located in the United States, specifically in the state of Pennsylvania. It is part of Milford Township in Bucks County.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Palm is located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania, in the eastern region of the United States. It is part of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area, which is one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the country.

The history of Palm, Pennsylvania is closely tied to the history of Milford Township and Bucks County. The area was first settled by European Americans in the 18th century, and has a rich history that includes involvement in the American Revolutionary War and the Industrial Revolution.

As an unincorporated community, Palm does not have its own separate demographic statistics. However, it is part of Milford Township, which as of the 2010 Census, had a population of approximately 9,400 people.

The economy of Palm, like much of Milford Township, is largely based on agriculture. However, there are also a number of small businesses and services that contribute to the local economy.

Education in Palm is provided by the Quakertown Community School District, which serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The district operates several elementary schools, a middle school, and Quakertown Community High School.

Palm is served by several major roads, including Pennsylvania Route 663 and Pennsylvania Route 29. The nearest major airport is Lehigh Valley International Airport, located approximately 20 miles to the north.

Notable people[edit | edit source]

While Palm is a small community, it has been home to a number of notable individuals, including John Fries, a leader of the Fries's Rebellion in the late 18th century.
