Simply Market is a supermarket chain that is part of the Auchan Group, a French international retail group and multinational corporation. It was established in the year 2005 and has its headquarters in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France. The supermarket chain operates in several countries including France, Italy, Spain, and Poland.

Simply Market was created in 2005 as a rebranding of the Atac supermarket chain by the Auchan Group. The rebranding was part of a strategy to strengthen the group's presence in the urban market. The first Simply Market store was opened in Thionville, France.

Operations[edit | edit source]

Simply Market offers a wide range of products including grocery items, fresh produce, bakery items, meat and fish, dairy products, and household goods. The supermarket chain is known for its commitment to providing high-quality products at affordable prices.

In addition to physical stores, Simply Market also operates an online platform where customers can shop for their groceries and have them delivered to their homes. The online platform also offers a click and collect service, allowing customers to order their groceries online and pick them up at a Simply Market store.

Since its establishment, Simply Market has expanded its operations to several countries. In 2008, the supermarket chain entered the Italian market with the opening of a store in Milan. In 2010, Simply Market expanded to Spain and Poland.
