What do advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologists do?[edit source]
Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologists receive advanced training in cardiovascular disease and focuses on management of advanced or complicated heart failure beyond the scope of what is usually provided by general internists and general cardiologists. They do not do cardiac transplant or heart surgery but manage the complicated heart failure patients and cardiac transplant patients.
