Tirupati is a city in the Chittoor district of the Andhra Pradesh state in India. It is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in India, known primarily for the Venkateswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu. The temple is located on one of the seven peaks of the Tirumala Hills, and attracts millions of devotees from all over the world, making it one of the most-visited religious sites globally.
