Tony Luke's is a well-known Philadelphia-based sandwich shop that specializes in Philly cheesesteaks, roast pork sandwiches, and other Philadelphia cuisine. The original location was established in 1992 by Tony Lucidonio, Sr., his son Tony Luke, Jr., and his other son, Nick Lucidonio.

Tony Luke's was founded in 1992 in the South Philadelphia neighborhood. The original location is still in operation and is located under the Interstate 95 overpass on Oregon Avenue. The shop quickly gained popularity due to its authentic Philly cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches.

Expansion[edit | edit source]

In the years following its establishment, Tony Luke's has expanded to multiple locations in the Philadelphia area and beyond. The brand has also franchised locations in Bahrain, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Tony Luke's menu primarily consists of Philly cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches, but also includes other Philadelphia favorites such as chicken cheesesteaks, hoagies, and fries. The shop is known for its unique style of cheesesteak that includes thinly sliced rib-eye steak and melted cheese on a fresh Italian roll.
