Wilhelmine of Prussia (18 November 1774 – 12 October 1837) was a member of the House of Hohenzollern by birth and became Queen of the Netherlands through her marriage to William II of the Netherlands.
Early Life[edit | edit source]
Wilhelmine was born in Potsdam, Kingdom of Prussia, on 18 November 1774. She was the daughter of King Frederick William III of Prussia and Queen Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
Marriage and Reign[edit | edit source]
Wilhelmine married William II of the Netherlands and became Queen consort in 1840. She held this position until her death in 1837.
