DMBMPP
DMBMPP is a serotonin receptor agonist that is used in scientific research. It is a member of the 2C family of psychedelic phenethylamines.
Chemistry[edit | edit source]
DMBMPP is a phenethylamine derivative and has a chemical structure that is similar to other compounds in the 2C family. It is a dimethoxy-benzyl-phenethylamine and is also related to the psychedelic drug 2C-B.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
DMBMPP acts as an agonist at the 5-HT2A receptor, 5-HT2B receptor, and 5-HT2C receptor. These receptors are part of the serotonin system and are involved in a variety of physiological functions, including mood regulation and sensory perception.
Effects[edit | edit source]
The effects of DMBMPP are not well-studied, but it is likely that they are similar to those of other 2C drugs. These can include hallucinations, changes in perception, and altered mood states.
Research[edit | edit source]
DMBMPP is used in scientific research to study the serotonin system and the effects of psychedelic drugs. It is not used in clinical practice.
Safety[edit | edit source]
The safety profile of DMBMPP is not well-known. As with all research chemicals, it should be used with caution and under the supervision of a qualified professional.
Legal status[edit | edit source]
DMBMPP is not controlled in most countries, but it may be considered an analog of controlled substances in some jurisdictions.
