Polysaccharides

Polysaccharides are carbohydrates formed from up to a thousand monosaccharides. In other words, it is a large carbohydrate molecule that contains many small sugar molecules that are joined chemically, also called glycan.

Monosaccharides - these are the most basic, fundamental unit of a carbohydrates that are simple sugars with the general chemical structure of C6H12O6.
