The Prayer of Saint Francis, also known as the Peace Prayer, is a widely known and popular Christian prayer for peace. Although commonly attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi, the prayer's origins are not definitively linked to him. The prayer first appeared in its current form in 1912 in a small French spiritual magazine called La Clochette.
