  • A murine IgG monoclonal Fab' fragment antibody directed against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a protein that is overexpressed by many tumor cell types.


Clinical use[edit | edit source]

For tumors that overexpress CEA, arcitumomab may be used as an adjunct diagnostic imaging tool to obtain prognostic information following resection and to monitor for recurrent disease.
