Crow

Crow is a common name for several species of birds in the genus Corvus of the family Corvidae. The term "crow" is used both for the birds as a whole and specifically for the Common Crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos.

Crows are large, intelligent birds with a distinctive, harsh call. They are generally black, although some species have white or grey markings. They have strong, stout beaks and large wings. Crows are omnivorous, eating a wide variety of food including insects, seeds, fruits, small mammals, and carrion.

Crows are known for their intelligence and problem-solving abilities. They have been observed using tools, recognizing themselves in mirrors, and planning for future events. They are social birds, often forming large flocks.

There are many species of crows, including the Common Crow, the Carrion Crow, the Hooded Crow, and the American Crow. Each species has its own range and habitat preferences.

Crows have a significant presence in many cultures' mythologies and folklore. They are often associated with death and the supernatural, but also with wisdom and prophecy.
