Fenobam

Fenobam is a non-benzodiazepine anxiolytic drug that belongs to the oxazolopyridine class of compounds. Unlike many other anxiolytics, fenobam operates as a potent and selective negative allosteric modulator of the metabotropic glutamate receptor subtype 5 (mGluR5).
