Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins.

Twice was formed under the television program Sixteen, a survival reality show designed to select the members of Twice. The show began on May 5, 2015 and ended with Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu as the winners.

Twice's music is a mix of K-pop, EDM, and R&B. They have released multiple albums, with Twicetagram being their first studio album. Their music often includes themes of love and relationships, and they are known for their catchy melodies and synchronized dance moves.

Twice has been credited for their contribution to the global spread of K-pop. They have received numerous awards, including the Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Mnet Asian Music Awards. They have also achieved significant commercial success, with several of their albums and songs charting in the top ten of the Gaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums chart.

Nayeon is known for her versatile vocals, Jeongyeon for her powerful voice, Momo for her exceptional dancing skills, Sana for her bubbly personality, Jihyo for her leadership and strong vocals, Mina for her ballet skills, Dahyun for her rapping and variety skills, Chaeyoung for her rapping and artistic abilities, and Tzuyu for her visuals and dancing skills.
