Viral myocarditis

Viral myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle (myocardium) caused by a viral infection. The condition can lead to heart failure, arrhythmia, and sudden cardiac death. The most common viruses causing myocarditis include Coxsackie virus, Parvovirus B19, and Human herpesvirus 6. However, any viral infection can potentially lead to myocarditis.

Causes
