Summary[edit]

Summary
Description This is a false-color picture taken with a Leica fluorescence microscope of a flat-mounted rat retina at 50x magnification. Dextran Texas-red (fluorophore) was injected into the distal end of the cut optic nerve and allowed to undergo retrograde transport to cell bodies for 24 hours before eye enucleation and dissection. Re-uploaded from my own work as a png file.
