Julia saw that the other diners all seemed to be having smoked salmon in something or the other, so she went for this. The generous folds of smoked salmon was smoky and rich, and really luscious! Compared to that, the baked potato and ricotta cake didn't stand a chance, although it did stand quietly in the back preventing the salmon from overpowering your palate. The egg yolks were a bright orange, but it was a pity that the yolks were not runny, the way we liked it. |
