Summary[edit]

Summary
Description Photograph of three antique patent medicine bottles in my own (username deepestbluesea) collection. These three medicine bottles (Daffy’s Elixir, Dalby’s Carminative and Turlington’s Balsam of Life) nicely illustrate the unusual and distinctive packaging adopted by many early quack and patent medicine proprietors in Britain to ‘brand’ their products.
