What do cardiac surgeons do?[edit source]
Also called cardiothoracic surgeons (CT surgeons), heart surgeons diagnose and treat conditions and disorders of the heart and blood vessels in the thorax. Heart surgeons perform coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), valve replacement surgeries, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program, and other cardiovascular procedures.
