Gyencologic oncology is a branch of surgery that deals with providing surgical care of Gynecologic cancers such as uterine, ovarian, vagina, fallopian tube and cancer of the vulva. Of all the gynecologic cancers, only cervical cancer has screening tests that can find this cancer early, when treatment can be most effective.
