Alberta is a province located in the western part of Canada, being the fourth largest by area and the third largest by population among Canada's ten provinces. Alberta is bordered by British Columbia to the west, Saskatchewan to the east, the Northwest Territories to the north, and the United States state of Montana to the south. It is one of two landlocked provinces in Canada, the other being Saskatchewan. The capital of Alberta is Edmonton, while Calgary is its largest city.
