Prion pruritus
Prion pruritus is the intense itching during the prodromal period of the Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease.[1]
Response to therapy[edit | edit source]
- Unfortunately, the pruritus was resistant to therapy.
- The underlying mechanisms are unclear, but we speculate that the pruritus may result from brainstem involvement.
