Abington Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is one of the oldest communities in Montgomery County, dating back to the 1700s. The township is a part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Abington Township was settled in the early 1700s and incorporated shortly thereafter.
