Arthur Rubinfeld is an American businessman and retail executive. He is best known for his work as the former Chief Creative Officer and President of Global Innovation for Starbucks Corporation. Rubinfeld played a crucial role in shaping the Starbucks brand and revolutionizing the company's store design and customer experience.

Arthur Rubinfeld was born on October 10, 1954, in New York City, United States. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Rubinfeld later pursued his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Starbucks Corporation[edit | edit source]

Rubinfeld joined Starbucks Corporation in 1992 as the Vice President of Real Estate. He played a pivotal role in expanding the company's store footprint and developing its real estate strategy. Rubinfeld's innovative approach to store design and location selection helped Starbucks become a global retail powerhouse.

In 2002, Rubinfeld was promoted to the position of President of Global Development and Evolution Fresh. He led the company's efforts in creating new store concepts and driving innovation in the retail industry. Rubinfeld's contributions to Starbucks' success were recognized when he was appointed as the Chief Creative Officer in 2008.

As the Chief Creative Officer, Rubinfeld focused on enhancing the overall customer experience by integrating technology, design, and innovation. He spearheaded initiatives such as the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room, which offered customers an immersive coffee experience. Rubinfeld also played a key role in the development of Starbucks' mobile ordering and payment system.
