Bacon Cheeseburger Soup[edit | edit source]
A delicious, hearty, and keto-friendly recipe, the Bacon Cheeseburger Soup is a perfect meal for those following a keto diet. This soup is packed with all the flavors of a traditional cheeseburger but in a comforting soup.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1/2 pound of bacon, chopped
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1/2 cup of onions, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of dill pickles, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pot.
- Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are translucent.
- Add the chicken broth to the pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the cooked bacon, ground beef, cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and dill pickles. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy your Bacon Cheeseburger Soup!
