Keto BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Waffles[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1/2 pound of ground beef
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 tablespoons of sugar-free BBQ sauce
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your waffle iron.
- Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, almond flour, baking powder, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the preheated waffle iron. Cook according to the waffle iron's instructions.
- Once the waffle is cooked, top with the cooked ground beef, remaining shredded cheese, and crumbled bacon.
- Drizzle with the sugar-free BBQ sauce and close the waffle iron. Cook until the cheese is melted and the waffle is crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and ingredients.
