Brudziński's sign is a clinical sign seen in patients with meningitis and meningism. It is considered one of the most important physically demonstrable symptoms of meningitis.

Mechanism[edit]

Severe neck stiffness causes a patient's hips and knees to flex when the neck is flexed.
