  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and top each thigh with a slice of mozzarella cheese and a slice of tomato.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the chicken and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
