- Ebensburg is a borough and the county seat of Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 25 miles west of Altoona and surrounded by Cambria Township. The town is situated in a productive agricultural region.

- Ebensburg was founded in 1796 as a county seat for Cambria County and named for Eben Lloyd, the son of the town's founder, William Lloyd. The town was laid out around a central diamond where the courthouse now stands.

- As of the 2010 census, the borough's population was 3,351. The town is predominantly of Irish and German descent, with a small percentage of residents of Italian descent.
