| Description | This is an animation describing the process of uniparental disomy. A meiotic error (non disjunction of the blue-green leads initially to a monosomic gamete (solitary yellow). Due to a mitotic rescue event, reduplication of the yellow restores normal copy number, but with two identical alleles. |
