Keto Cauliflower Hash Browns is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional hash browns. This recipe is perfect for those following a keto diet as it is low in carbs and high in healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 medium cauliflower
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by washing and drying the cauliflower. Cut it into florets and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice.
- Place the cauliflower rice in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. Let it cool.
- Once cooled, squeeze out as much water as possible using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop the cauliflower mixture into the skillet and flatten with a spatula. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Serve the Keto Cauliflower Hash Browns warm.
