From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

Mullerian Tumor is a type of tumor that originates from the Mullerian ducts in the female reproductive system. These tumors can be benign or malignant and are often associated with various gynecological conditions.

There are several types of Mullerian tumors, including:

  • Cervical cancer: This type of Mullerian tumor starts in the cells lining the cervix.
  • Ovarian cancer: This type of Mullerian tumor begins in the ovaries.
  • Vaginal cancer: This is a rare type of Mullerian tumor that starts in the vagina.

The symptoms of Mullerian tumors can vary depending on the type and location of the tumor. Common symptoms may include:

  • Abnormal vaginal bleeding
  • Pelvic pain
  • Unusual vaginal discharge
  • Pain during intercourse

Diagnosis[edit | edit source]
