Schaumburg, Illinois is a city located in the northeastern part of the state of Illinois, United States. As of the most recent census, the city has a population of 74,227. It is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area, and is approximately 28 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop and 10 miles northwest of O'Hare International Airport.
