Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a public academic health center located in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is the state's only academic health center and is affiliated with the Oregon University System. OHSU consists of two main components: the university itself and the University Medical Group.

OHSU was founded in 1974 as the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center, combining the University of Oregon's medical and dental schools with the Oregon State University's nursing school. In 1981, it was renamed Oregon Health Sciences University and later became Oregon Health & Science University in 2001 to reflect its expanded mission.
