PEBL (software)

PEBL (software) is a free, open-source software for the design and execution of psychological experiments. It was developed by Shane Mueller and is maintained by the PEBL Project Team. The software is written in C++ and is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

PEBL is designed to be a comprehensive tool for creating and running custom psychological experiments. It includes a library of pre-made experiments, as well as a scripting language that allows users to create their own. The software is used in a variety of research settings, including cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, and psycholinguistics.

PEBL was first released in 2003 by Shane Mueller. Since then, it has been continually updated and improved by the PEBL Project Team. The software is released under the GNU General Public License, which allows anyone to use, modify, and distribute the software for free.
