Ritter Sport is a brand of chocolate from the Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG. Company which is based in Waldenbuch, Germany. Each 100 gram square-shaped chocolate bar is divided into 16 smaller squares, creating a four-by-four pattern.

Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1912 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany by Alfred and Clara Ritter. The company moved to Waldenbuch in 1930, a couple of years after the launch of the Ritter's Sport Chocolate brand. The brand's unique square shape was introduced in 1932.

Ritter Sport produces a variety of chocolates with different fillings, including marzipan, praline, nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, nougat, yogurt, and many others. The company also produces a range of organic products with a variety of flavors.
