Sheridan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 3,384. Its county seat is Plentywood. Its northern boundary is the Canada–United States border south of Saskatchewan.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Sheridan County is located in the northeastern part of Montana. It has a total area of 1,677 square miles (4,340 km2), of which 1,671 square miles (4,330 km2) is land and 6.0 square miles (16 km2) (0.4%) is water.

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 3,384 people, 1,587 households, and 1,013 families residing in the county.
