St. Joseph Hospital (Fort Wayne, Indiana)

St. Joseph Hospital was the first hospital founded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, opening in 1869. It was a member of the Lutheran Health Network. The hospital offered a wide range of services including behavioral health, intensive care, cardiac and vascular services, emergency care, and more. Notably, it had a nationally verified burn center, although it lost its accreditation in July 2018. St. Joseph Hospital closed in 2021, with staff and patients being transferred to the newly completed Lutheran Downtown Hospital.
