Skin | Stratified Squamous Epithelium | Provides protection against external factors and helps regulate body temperature. |
Lungs | Simple Squamous Epithelium | Facilitates gas exchange between the air and blood in the alveoli. |
Stomach | Simple Columnar Epithelium | Secretes digestive enzymes and absorbs nutrients from food. |
Intestines | Simple Columnar Epithelium | Absorbs nutrients from digested food and secretes mucus for lubrication. |
