Ultra is a term used in various fields to denote something that is extreme or beyond the usual. In the context of medical science, it is often used as a prefix to describe procedures, conditions, or equipment that are beyond the normal or standard range. For example, an ultrasound is a medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the inside of the body.

For example, an ultra-low temperature freezer is a type of freezer used in laboratories and medical facilities to store samples at extremely low temperatures. Similarly, an ultra-high resolution CT scan is a type of computed tomography scan that provides more detailed images than a standard CT scan.
